Imagine being immersed into the environment where all day you hike trails, completely surrounded by God's glorious creation. This fall, the 5th grade studetns experienced this for four straight days while at Islandwood: The School In The Woods. On beautiful Bainbridge Island, students studied ecosystems, watersheds and participated in all kinds of games and activities. For many, the dream of licking a banana slug and eating stinging nettle came true!
