BCJHS is a two–year program designed to prepare 7th and 8th grade students spiritually, academically and socially for senior high. Seven classes per semester – with a modified block schedule – allows for a variety of elective options. Small class size, 90 students in each grade, allows students to benefit from teachers who know them and serve as mentors, and allows faculty to keep classes challenging. Recognizing that junior high is a unique transitional phase where students experience many physical and emotional changes, faculty are specially trained to personally connect with and engage students spiritually, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
