The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate is standard and required for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information so that it cannot be read over the internet. The collection of personal financial information is solely for the purpose of payment transaction processing services, in which BCS may contract or subcontract with third parties engaged in the business of credit card transaction processing and authorization.
