- Explore applications of environmental studies in our community and around the world. How is garbage managed? How does our sewage get cleaned so well we can drink the outflow?
- How is plastic turning up in the most remote parts of our planet?
- Go on field trips to places like gardens, recycling plants, grocery stores, shipping locks, museums, etc.
- Talk intelligently about the environment using civil discourse and scientific data
- You will need to collaborate with your peers and productively contribute to productive conversations about touchy subjects
- Homework is generally less than 30 minutes per class day
