The Board has the heart of a shepherd, acting primarily as a trustee of the school’s vision to prepare young people to live faithfully and fully for Christ.
The Board of Directors meets monthly to formulate policy and to provide direction for the school. The Directors are elected by the members of the school corporation for a three-year term and are chosen for their integrity, wisdom, and support of the BCS purpose and mission.
The Board focuses on three areas critical to the success of the school: it selects, evaluates, and supports the Head of School, to whom it delegates authority to manage the school; develops broad institutional policies that guide the Head in running the school; and it is accountable for the financial well-being of the school. The Board of Directors does not intervene in the daily affairs of BCS, such as curriculum development, student discipline, or the management of faculty and staff.
Messages to the Board will be responded to by the Board President on behalf of the entire Board. If you would like to contact the Board, you may reach out to board@bellevuechristian.org.
